There was a time when dating was easy. These days when attending a singles event you need more than just the hope of finding The One. Once you know what you want, you have to be prepared to get it. It’s only natural that when venturing out into the dark wilderness called dating you are equipped with ammo, namely being able to say “I’m 28, never married, hardworking but not dominating, want a large family someday, love Italian food and do advanced yoga regularly” in a quick manner with a wink and a smile.

It’s these same characteristics that can be applied to a business conference. The WCA Family of Logistic Networks conference was held in Miami, Florida earlier this month. Over 600 representatives from the world’s best independent freight forwarders all assembled at the Miami Intercontinental hotel. Despite the business nature of the event, it’s more reminiscent of speed dating than a business meeting. And like speed-dating you need to divulge all the vital
information upfront which is why InHouse Crown took a different approach to this year’s event. Instead of renting a
booth, our reps became walking, talking billboards by printing t-shirts with necessary information about the company.

Inhouse client PUMA are well-known for their support of field, track and sports athletes. But it’s their support of the after-hours athletes that is making news. The PUMA Social is a worldwide initiative that focuses on the teammates all around the world, i.e. all the people who make the brand more than just another sportswear company. Now they’re giving all these after-hour athletes another reason to feel just as prestigious as the athletes making headlines. The PUMA Social Cards App allows you to immortalize all your greatest achievements by creating your very own sports trading cards. So whether you’re The Captain, The Comic Relief or even The Early Exiter, commemorate it with PUMA.

When it comes to national pride, no one quite does it like Paul Smith. The British fashion designer is always willing to collaborate to celebrate his heritage. This time he’s joined forces with The British Fashion Council and Selfridges department store for the “Britain Creates” project. In celebration of the London 2012 Olympics, designers and artists are collaborating on a series of Wonder Windows which will run in the department store’s windows throughout the games. Paul Smith has teamed up with artist Charming Baker to create the installation piece Triumph in the Face of Absurdity.
