Spring equals a time for new beginnings, new seasons and new projects. It also means bikini season is close at hand. While some of us are doing a mad dash to the gym and trying to get rid of any evidence of those cold, winter nights spent far, far away from any form of exercise, our clients have been busy. Whether its new collaborations, new
projects or just new products, these guys are showing off the spring in their step.

It’s impossible to mention spring without first saying goodbye to winter. It always seems that every winter is colder than the last but this year that may have been true. If the snowfall was anything to go by. Although snow is often expected in some areas of South Africa, Johannesburg central isn’t normally one of them. This year, the city was transformed into a winter wonderland and InHouse Crown Johannesburg managed to be swept up in the snowstorm.

Starting off the season is Paul Smith. This client has teamed up with British heritage brand Barbour to create a limited edition capsule collection. The collection, which is scheduled to hit stores this month, will cater to men and women. Priced between R500 to over R6000, the capsule collection sees the classic British brand get injected with a hint of colour and pattern that only Paul Smith can provide.

In girl world, spring is a great time to say goodbye to all your old clothes and welcome a fresh, new wardrobe for the season. In the shipping world, things are quite similar. Ethiopian Airlines have become the third airlines to start using Boeing’s Dreamliner aircraft. The airline, which is one of Africa’s largest; follow Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways to use the flagship aircraft. The Boeing Dreamliners are built using lightweight material for fuel efficiency rather
than aluminium and are priced at approximately $200 million. Talk about a new wardrobe!
