Over a period of 8 years we have assist Levi Strauss to re-engineer their entire supply chain process of more than 600 shipments. Over billing was eradicated, consolidation volumes improved and tariff classification was corrected. We assisted Levi to be one of the first importers to benefit from the SACD duty free import on goods manufactured in Mauritius. We managed and controlled Levi’s fabric supply chain for the manufacturing of their jeans from our bonded warehouse. We facilitate the retrospective reclaim of paid duty from SARS through the procurement of DCC’s. The process took 2 years but we reclaimed several millions of duty costs.

Even though Carrol Boyes has only been client of ours for the past 4 years the nature of their shipments requires precise execution due to the urgency by which their products are required in South Africa. Our dedicated controllers have spent many weekends and evenings overseeing the collections and ensuring the timeous departures of the cargo from China and India. At times even customs entries were framed on Sunday’s to ensure deadlines are met.
